About
Perinatal Alliance for Mental Health Thailand

About the Alliance

Our Background

Perinatal Alliance for Mental Health Thailand ("PAM Thailand") was established by those organisations in the reproductive ecosystem in Thailand who wished to improve Perinatal Mental Health ("PMH") within the country.

There is a general lack of awareness by the public of PMH conditions, no countrywide guidelines and established pathways, specific expertise, and a lack of research.

PAM Thailand was setup with the initial goals of:

1) Raising Public Awareness

2) Developing National Guidelines

3) Supporting Research

Working with the public, professionals, and the public sector we aim to ensure that all mums, babies, and new Thai families are aware of PMH conditions and know where to seek appropriate care.
